Yes. There’s no minimum, so you can print 100 labels for a pilot batch or retailer samples, then order 10,000 for launch from the same printer. Digital printing means no plates to pay for on the small run. We keep your colors consistent from the pilot through every reorder, so launch bottles match the ones your buyer approved. You’ll have a quote within 24 hours.

FDA rules require a dietary supplement label to include:

• A product name that identifies it as a dietary supplement, like “Magnesium Dietary Supplement” (an herbal product can say “Herbal Supplement”)
• The net quantity, like “60 capsules”
• A Supplement Facts panel
• The ingredient list
• The name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor

The product name and net quantity go on the front panel. The Supplement Facts panel, ingredient list, and business name can go on the panel just to the right of it. What the label says is yours to decide and review, and we print exactly what’s on your approved proof.

Yes. Many supplement brands have their labels applied at a co-packer, so we wind rolls to fit the co-packer’s machine. Before you request a quote, ask your co-packer for:

• Core size (the cardboard tube in the center of the roll)
• The largest roll diameter their machine takes
• Unwind direction (which edge of the label comes off the roll first)
• The gap they want between labels, if they specify one

Sending those specs with your artwork saves a round of emails and keeps your rolls from getting turned away when they arrive.

An extended content label usually solves it. This label has a peel-back layer on top: your customer lifts the front panel to read the Supplement Facts and ingredients printed underneath, then lays it back down. You get a second layer of printing space without moving to a bigger label or a bigger bottle. Gummy bottles, tinctures, and small capsule bottles are where we see it most. If you’re redesigning anyway, compare it with a wraparound label before you lock the layout.

They will if they’re printed on film. Supplement bottles get handled every day, tossed in gym bags, and stored next to a steamy shower, and paper labels scuff and lift under that treatment. We typically recommend a water-resistant film with a gloss or matte finish over the print, which keeps the Supplement Facts readable until the bottle is empty. Kraft and recycled papers are available if you want a natural look.

Yes we do! Variable data printing lets us change certain parts of your label from one to the next all in the same print run. That means you can make every label unique without slowing things down or creating multiple designs. Some common ways our customers use variable data printing include:

• Expiration dates – Print time-sensitive info directly on the label instead of relying on secondary coding.

Yes we do! We have several eco-friendly label materials that work great for supplements. Some of the most popular options include:

• Compostable vellum – A plant-based paper that breaks down in composting conditions.

• Kraft paper – Recyclable with a natural, organic look that’s perfect for “clean” products.

• Recycled or FSC-certified paper – Helps reduce virgin fiber use and supports responsible forestry practices.

• PLA (biodegradable) labels – Made from cornstarch-derived film that decomposes under composting conditions.

We don’t design labels in house, but we can point you to people who do. Our directory of Blue Label Approved designers lists designers who know how labels print, and our gallery of past label designs is there for ideas. If your design started in Canva or an AI image tool, a designer can rebuild it into a print-ready file. We check every file against our artwork checklist before printing and let you know if anything needs fixing.

Yes. Before we print your supplement labels, we email you a digital proof to approve. Check it for spelling, positioning, size, and every required detail, since what you approve is what we print. A screen can’t show exactly how a color or material will look in hand, so if that matters for your launch, you can order a printed proof for an extra fee:

• Press proof: your design printed on the material you picked, with the laminate or varnish. It isn’t die cut and won’t include foil, embossing, or other embellishments, but the die line is printed on it so you can trim it to size.
• Sample print: a small production run on your material and finish, die cut and with every embellishment. Because it’s finished like the real thing, it needs the same tooling as your full order.
