Yes, with the right pairing. Warm cardboard and the moisture that comes with it are the two things that make a label lift at the corners. We use a permanent adhesive rated for the surface, and for warm or greasy items we recommend a film facestock rather than an uncoated paper. If your boxes are packed hot, mention it when you request a quote so we spec for that instead of guessing.

A film label, usually BOPP. Glaze and frying oil are the hardest test in bakery packaging, and paper without a protective coating will absorb them and blur the print. BOPP resists oil and water and wipes clean, which is why we point most donut and fried-pastry brands toward it. For a bakery that leans artisan and doesn’t fry, a kraft or coated paper is a better fit for the look and costs less.

Yes. We print branded tamper-evident seals for bakery boxes and bags, which is worth considering if you do pickup, catering, or third-party delivery. They carry your logo, so you get the reassurance and the branding in one label instead of covering your box with a generic security sticker.

Yes. Depending on the project, we offer recycled paper stocks, compostable facestocks, water-based adhesives, and soy-based inks. Some of these trade off a little grease resistance, which matters more in bakery than in most categories, so we’ll walk you through where the tradeoff lands for your product.

We offer shipping through several vendors like UPS, Fedex, and USPS. Ground, Next-Day, 2-Day, 3-Day, and custom freight options.

Before printing your custom donut box labels, we will provide a digital proof via email for your approval. This allows you to review your label, confirming details like positioning, color accuracy, text legibility, and more, prior to full production. We are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction through this streamlined proofing process.

Our printers are capable of matching up to 97% of the full color spectrum, allowing us to achieve precise color reproduction for your bakery box labels. We use advanced CMYK printing to produce an extensive gamut of colors. For designs requiring an expanded range, we also print using WOVG ink sets which add white, orange, violet and green.

Our top-of-the-line color management program and processes ensure we hit the correct hues, tints and shades. We color calibrate and profile all of our presses so your unique color palettes and gradations print true to your vision.
