The Background
When Urban Coast Wines approached us with a highly detailed label design for a new product launch, they had already experienced setbacks after another printer’s laser die-cutting process damaged the material.
The design featured delicate internal die cuts and thin line embossing, and it needed an alternative production approach that would preserve both the design intent and the label’s functionality.
Through close collaboration with the customer and their designer, our team helped refine the artwork, select the right paper stock that gave them the texture they wanted and the sturdiness they needed, and enhanced the design with layered ink techniques to create depth and dimension.
The result was a striking, production-ready label that captured the original creative vision while performing flawlessly on the bottle. By successfully executing complex internal die cuts and purposeful embossing, we delivered a premium finished product that elevated the brand without feeling overdone, earning high praise from the customer.
