Whether you’re labeling a small cosmetic tube, a squeezable soap bottle, or a refrigerated beverage, White MDO film labels deliver durability and design flexibility. Its semi-squeezable, machine-direction oriented structure lets it conform smoothly around curves without bubbling or lifting, and the bright white, matte finish provides a crisp backdrop for vivid colors, foil stamping, or other premium print effects.
Built from a thinner polyolefin film, White MDO offers high tensile strength and moisture resistance, so labels stand up to humidity, oils, and everyday handling. This lightweight construction not only reduces material use (improving roll yields and sustainability), but also meets food-contact regulations, making it ideal for products in food, beverage, health, and wellness categories.

We use co-extruded polyolefin (a polyethylene/polypropylene blend) that’s been stretched in the machine direction for strength. It typically comes in about 50–75 μm (2–3 mil) thickness. The result is an opaque, matte-white film with superior dimensional stability.
It is coated with a print-receptive top layer so inks adhere well, and applied with an acrylic adhesive that sticks to common plastic surfaces.
The liner is usually a PET or coated-kraft (glassine) material for smooth roll dispensing.
Together, this construction gives you a bright white label stock that flexes with your bottle or tube.

For finishing, MDO labels can be laminated (gloss or matte), varnished (UV/aqueous), or foil-stamped. Its printable surface produces crisp images, making it suitable for high-resolution graphics and even specialty effects like spot UV or foil (using shallow engraving for curves).

Extremely well. MDO film is inherently moisture-resistant and it won’t soften, smear, or peel in damp environments. Brands put these labels on shampoo bottles, hand soaps, protein drink pouches, and more; the labels stay intact in showers, refrigerators, and sweaty gyms.
Likewise, MDO resists oils and solvents. It’s often chosen for oily formulations (lotions, cooking oils, beard oils, etc.) because grease won’t bleed through or dissolve the label.

White MDO combines many of the best traits of plastic films. Like BOPP and PET, it offers excellent moisture and oil resistance. Its durability is high, but it’s more conformable than PET or standard BOPP, making it ideal for tight curves.
In terms of cost, MDO sits mid-range: more expensive than basic paper or standard BOPP films, but less costly than specialty PET/polyester films. (The durability and reduced waste often justify the cost for many brands.)
For containers that bend or are squeezed, MDO is usually preferred over paper or stiff PET. On flat rigid containers, BOPP or PET might suffice; but for squeezable tubes or flexible bottles, we steer you to MDO.
