As our nation and the world continue to combat the COVID-19 epidemic, I wanted to update our customers, vendors, and partners on our operations and current policies.
In Ohio, the Director of the Department of Health issued a ‘Stay at Home’ order that takes effect at 11:59PM on Monday, March 23. This order bars the operations of non-essential businesses and regulates public travel. Since we produce packaging for both food and public health products, we are considered an Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce component as outlined in the CISA Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response. Thus, we will continue to operate under the guidelines set forward in the Director’s Order.
Here are some updates on our continued operations:
• Temporarily we are not allowing visitors to our Lancaster, Ohio plant. We are more than happy to schedule a conference call or a visit in the future. We do still allow customer pickups of orders, contact your Account Manager or Business Developer for updated pickup instructions.
• We do not foresee any interruptions to our service at the current time. Our facility continues to operate at full capacity. That said, we are prioritizing projects related to public health (hand sanitizer, PPE packaging, etc.).
• Currently we have not been informed of any disruptions to our supply chain. We will update our customers should we be notified of any changes that will affect service delivery.
• Most of our administrative staff is working from home, and we have instituted social distancing and increased disinfecting in our facility. Also, as required by the state, we perform temperature checks on all individuals entering the building.
We are continuing to monitor guidelines as they are released. As the situation continues to change, we will issue updates on what you can expect. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Stay at home and stay healthy, we’ll get through this together.
